Amal Clooney

Human rights lawyer Amal Clooney will turn 47 on February 3

Amal was born in Beirut, Lebanon but was only two when her family moved to the UK to escape civil war. She is a human rights barrister practising in the US and UK and also internationally. She married movie star George Clooney in 2014 and they co-founded the Clooney Foundation For Justice. The couple have twins, Ella and Alexander.
