Actress Rooney Mara will turn 40 on April 17

Rooney started acting inspired by musical theatre and classic films - she starred in The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, Her and Carol on her route to fame. She’s is currently filming Bucking Fastard, directed by Werner Herzog. She’s in a relationship with actor Joaquin Phoenix and they have two children.
